MURFREESBORO — William Blount could have folded after losing a heartbreaker to powerhouse Ooltewah Wednesday in its Class AAA state tournament softball opener.
The Lady Governors could have packed it in after pitching ace Kelsie Darnell took a wicked liner off her face in the second game against Hardin County, and eventually had to leave due to fatigue.
Instead, the Lady Governors live to play another day.
