GREENBACK—Even though it was the first time the two teams shared a field since the 2016, there were very few secrets when Oneida and Greenback lined up opposite each other.
The Cherokees have become known for their explosive offense, while the Tony Lambert has built the reputation of his Indians squad around the defensive side of the ball.
The two opposing philosophies resulted in exactly what Greenback coach Greg Ryan expected, as his Cherokees were able to outlast Oneida 20-7 in the renewed rivalry on Friday night at Greenback.
