Two of the most decorated performers in Tennessee prep history headline the 2018 All-Metro Knoxville Coaches Track & Field Team.
Seven area track and field coaches served on the nominating and voting committee for the second-annual team.
Christian Academy’s Rebecca Story, who added four more state championships at the recent state Division II-A track and field meet, was named Female Athlete of the Year.
Story, who will run for Stanford in the fall, is a 12-time state champion on the track and a two-time state cross country champion.
Bearden’s Josh Sobota, the Male Athlete of the Year, repeated as Class AAA champion in both the shot put and discus at the state meet.
