You don’t have much time. The playoffs begin Friday, Nov. 8.
So here’s your crash course on the 2019 TSSAA Football Playoffs, everything you need to know and look out for.
Let’s start with some easy stuff: 33 teams from the 5Star Preps coverage area reached the postseason. Seymour (5-5), Midway (5-5), Morristown East (4-6), Union County (4-6) and Hardin Valley (4-6) just missed out on the playoffs but will take some nice momentum into the offseason.
All three teams that won state titles in 2018 return for title defenses: Alcoa (3A), Greeneville (4A) and Central (5A).
