Here are the members of the 2019 All-5Star Preps Girls’ Soccer Teams.
Players are selected by our personal evaluations, coach nominations and input, statistics, character and team success.

FIRST TEAM
Reyna Coston, senior, Maryville
Position: midfielder
Coston, the 2019 5Star Preps Player of the Year, posted 30 goals and nine assists as Maryville (18-4-3) advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals before losing to Brentwood. The Presbyterian signee is Maryville’s career goal-scoring leader (93) and career points leader. She’s a four-time all-district and all-region player and three-time all-state player, leading Maryville to three region titles and three state tournament appearances in four years.
Kayla Barr, freshman, Maryville
Position: forward
Barr earned All-District 4-AAA and All-Region 2-AAA honors this season when Maryville (18-4-3) reached the state semifinals before losing to Brentwood. She posted 13 goals and 23 assists in her first season with the Lady Rebels.
Hailey Cartt, senior, Bearden
Position: midfielder
Cartt, a Maryville College signee, was the District 4-AAA Midfielder of the Year when Bearden (17-4-1) advanced to the Class AAA state sectionals before losing at Maryville, 2-0. She scored six goals and had 13 assists.
Brinley Murphy, freshman, Bearden
Position: forward
Murphy was on the All-District 4-AAA and All-Region 2-AAA teams after helping the Lady Bulldogs (17-4-1) reach the Class AAA state sectionals. She was Bearden’s top goal scorer with 18 and had six assists.
Ellie Wolski, senior, Catholic
Position: forward
Wolski, a Coastal Carolina signee, was Catholic’s top goal scorer with 10 and added two assists as the Lady Irish (12-8) advanced to the Division II-AA state semifinals before losing to state champion Briarcrest.
Hannah Miller, senior Powell
Position: midfielder
Miller, a Lee University signee, was the District 3-AAA Midfielder of the Year as the Lady Panthers reached the Region 2-AAA championship match and advanced to the state sectionals before losing to Science Hill in Johnson City.
Katie O’Brien, senior, Oak Ridge
O’Brien was the District 3-AAA Attacker of the Year as the Lady Wildcats won the district regular season and tournament title before losing to Maryville in the Region 2-AAA semifinals. She had 15 goals and nine assists.
Delana Debusk, sophomore, Greeneville
Position: forward
Debusk was the District 1-AA Offensive Player of the Year and the Region 1-AA Player of the Year, scoring 23 goals and adding 10 assists as Greeneville (18-7) won the Class AA state championship.
Kenly Wilhoit, senior, Greeneville
Position: defender
Wilhoit was the District 1-AA Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Region 1-AA honors as the Lady Greene Devils (18-7) posted 13 shutouts on their way to the Class AA state championship.
Ibby Petre, senior, West
Position: forward
Petre set the school record for career goals during the 2019 season as West finished second to Bearden in District 2-AAA, lost to Bearden in the district championship and fell to Johnson City Science Hill in the Region 1-AAA semifinals.
Karly Livingston, senior, Hardin Valley Academy
Position: forward
Livingston, who will play at Charleston Southern, was the District 4-AAA offensive player of the year, posting 14 goals and nine assists as the Lady Hawks (12-3-5) won the District 4-AAA tournament title before losing to Powell in the Region 2-AAA semifinals.
Ashton Blair, senior, Central
Position: goalkeeper
Blair, an ETSU signee, led the Lady Bobcats (13-7-2) to District 4-AA and Region 2-AA championships on their way to the first state tournament appearance in program history. They lost to Murfreesboro Central Magnet 2-0 in the Class AA quarterfinals.
McKinna Murr, junior, Alcoa
Position: midfielder
Murr led the team in goals with 18 and added seven assists as the Lady Tornadoes (13-6) advanced to the Class A state championship match. She scored the only goal in a 1-0 state quarterfinal victory over Merrol Hyde.
SECOND TEAM

Abby Brewer, senior, Bearden
Brewer, a forward, earned All-District 2-AAA and All-Region 1-AAA honors, posting 13 goals and five assists as the Lady Bulldogs advanced to the Class AAA state sectionals.
Grayson Patterson, senior, Maryville
The Lady Rebels’ goalkeeper posted 14 shutouts and had a 0.92 goals-against average as Maryville advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals.
Lauryn Smith, senior, Hardin Valley Academy
Smith, a defender, was the District 4-AAA Defensive Player of the Year as the Lady Hawks won the district championship. She’s signed with Tennessee Wesleyan.
Emaleigh Marshburn, sophomore, Powell
The Lady Panthers’ goalkeeper posted a goals-against average of 0.95 as the Lady Panthers advanced to the Region 2-AAA championship match and the state sectionals.
Maddie Peters, senior, Oak Ridge
Position: midfielder/forward
Peters was the District 3-AAA MVP, scoring 21 goals with six assists as the Lady Wildcats won district regular season and tournament before losing to Maryville in the Region 2-AAA semifinals.
Anna Hoang, senior, Catholic
Hoang had 12 goals and two assists as the Lady Irish advanced to the Division II-AA state semifinals before losing to eventual champion Briarcrest.
Jada Johnson, senior, Alcoa
Johnson, who plans to run track in college, posted 12 goals and four assists as the Lady Tornadoes advanced to the Class A state championship match.
Leah Murray, junior, Cosby
Murray was the Lady Eagles’ leading scorer as they advanced to the Class A state tournament, a first in program history (boys and girls). She had four goals and three assists in a 7-0 state quarterfinal victory over Westview.
Ally Lee, sophomore, Grace Christian
Lee was the Division II-A District 1 Player of the Year, posting 16 goals with seven assists as Grace Christian (9-6-1) won the district regular season with a 4-0 record and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
Ruthie Knight, senior, Grace Christian
Knight was the Division II-A District 1 Defender of the Year and anchored a defense that allowed just three goals in the postseason as the Lady Rams (9-6-1) advanced to the state quarterfinals.
Macy Vermillion, junior, Greeneville
Vermillion had 19 goals and 16 assists, earning all-district and all-region honors as the Lady Greene Devils won the Class AA state championship.
Anna Nichols, junior, CAK
Nichols was the Division II-A District 1 Goaltender of the Year, posting 104 saves and 10 shutouts as the Lady Warriors (14-4-1) advanced to the state quarterfinals.
Lia Schreuder, sophomore, CAK
Schreuder was the Division II-A District 1 Midfielder of the Year with 13 goals and seven assists as the Lady Warriors (14-4-1) reached the state quarterfinals.
