Region 1-A at Walters State
Hampton 49, Cosby 47 – Cosby (24-10) led by one with 5.4 seconds to go, but Hampton got a bucket down low off an inbounds play. Hampton (24-10) advances to face University High of Johnson City, which eliminated Jellico 72-52.
Region 2-A at CSAS
Oneida 43, CSAS 36 – Dalton Yancey (14 points) and Kolby Morgan (12) helped Oneida (26-7) survive a l0w-scoring affair at host Chattanooga School for Arts & Sciences (14-12). Oneida secured its state sectional berth for a second consecutive season.
Harriman 44, Lookout Valley 35 – Brady Stubbs scored 23 to pace Harriman (20-11), which will play in the state sectionals for the second consecutive season.
Region 1-AA at Grainger
Sullivan South 69, Grainger 66 – Jaxon Williams scored 17 and Brody Grubb 15, but Grainger (16-17) had its inspired postseason run come to an end. Cole Layne led Sullivan South (29-4) with 22.
Greeneville 71, South Greene 47 – Reid Satterfield scored a team-high 17 points, Jakobi Gillespie added 14, and the Greene Devils (24-6) advanced to the region finale for a second consecutive season.
