The Lakeway Christian Academy football program underwent a coaching change Wednesday despite never having played a varsity game in its program history.
The school announced Jermel Jones as its second head football coach, as he will replace Bruce Fowler.
Fowler, the former head football coach at Furman from 2011-16, accepted the job as Lakeway’s first athletics director and football coach in Spring 2018.
