ALCOA – Bearden senior A.J. Pruitt takes his job as captain of the basketball team seriously.
“It means you can’t be nice to everybody all the time,” Pruitt said. “You’ve got to bring the best out of everybody.”
The 6-foot-1 wing/forward was at it again Tuesday night, scoring 11 points as Bearden (11-1) notched a 65-33 non-district victory at Alcoa (2-5).
