College football recruiting seems to be getting back to normal.
After more than a year of Covid-19 precautions keeping players off college campuses, area prospects have been hitting the travel circuit hard.
For the last couple years, 5Star Preps has compiled a fluid top-prospect list of seniors and updated it through the final national signing day.
That means, players will go up, some prospects will go down, and others will either enter or fall from the Top 30.
Rankings are based off individual evaluation, Hudl film review, high school on-field productivity and college offers.
We are not a recruiting service — i.e. … parents don’t pay us to promote their children.
There are a lot of rankings out there. Some valid, some not. We have decades of experience in covering high school football in East Tennessee.
This is our honest evaluation.
So, the first iteration of the Class of 2022 List is below, and it features 30 seniors and a bonus list of players we feel could easily enter the Top 30 as their recruiting stock changes.
