The comment was obviously tongue in cheek, and it exited Matt Lowe’s mouth through a wry smile last week.
“With our schedule, we know we have to perform week in and week out. I don’t know who made our schedule, but he certainly didn’t do us any favors,” he said.
Of course, Lowe was referring to himself and a laugh ensued.
Still, that did little to diminish the gauntlet in front of Powell this fall. The Panthers will be one of many area programs tasked with a demanding regular-season schedule.
