As one of the leading tacklers on Webb School’s defense, linebacker Cooper Cameron has already made a significant impact in this his sophomore season.
But one play this fall has agitated him: the missed opportunity he had for an interception in a Week 2 game with Gibbs. The ball simply zipped through his hands.
He didn’t let his chance get away on Friday, though.
Cameron’s first interception this season proved to be not only the biggest play in the Spartans’ 24-23 comeback win at CAK but it might turn out to be the catalyst in Webb’s chase for a No. 1 seed in the postseason.
