Oliver Springs received an extra break in its schedule this week, as Oakdale announced Monday it was forfeiting its final three games (Oliver Springs, Harriman, Greenback) due to a lack of players.
Oliver Springs (7-1, 3-1 Region 2-1A) was set to play the Eagles this week. Instead, it gets a 1-0 win. The Bobcats were not caught off guard by the forfeit, though, said Oliver Springs fourth-year coach Larry Green.
