COALFIELD — Coalfield football blitzed through the postseason a year ago before falling 42-0 at the hands of South Pittsburg in the Class A semifinals.
And that just didn’t sit right with Yellow Jackets junior quarterback Cole Hines.
“We’ve grown a lot since last year, I don’t think we had the talent we have this year,” Hines said. “We can’t be satisfied right now because of that loss. Like coach Benson (Napier) said: ‘We wake up tomorrow and our eyes are on Cloudland.’”
