Webb School of Knoxville wins Division II-A.
Webb School of Knoxville, in its quest for a record sixth-consecutive state championship, swept Knoxville rival Concord Christian School (25-11, 25-16, 29-27) in the title game Thursday morning at the MTSU’s Murphy Center.
Kayleigh Hames of Webb was named MVP of the Division II-A Championship Match.
Webb cruised early. In the third set, though, Concord led 19-14 and then 23-20 but couldn’t close out Webb to force a fourth set.
