The South-Doyle High School football program’s search for a new head coach not only attracted candidates locally but also piqued some interest from the West Coast, it seems.
But while Paul Shelton — the new head coach at South-Doyle — comes to Knoxville now from his post at UC-Davis, he has deep East Tennessee roots.
