It was just one game in a long and arduous softball season.
But don’t underestimate what Bearden’s 5-4 win over Farragut on Wednesday meant to the young Lady Bulldogs.
The defending state 3A champion Lady Admirals had won 12 games in a row against Bearden dating back to 2015.
Most were in dominating fashion.
But the script turned … finally.
