LENOIR CITY – Loudon’s Dawson Walker picked a good time to pitch his best game of the season.
The 6-foot-3 junior right-hander threw a five-hitter Friday night as the Redskins beat rival Lenoir City 1-0 in a non-district game.
Walker wanted redemption for a 7-5 loss to Lenoir City on April 8 when he made a couple of costly errors at third base.
“It was a lot of motivation,” Walker said. “I had a rough game that night, too, so that motivated me even more.”
