MARYVILLE – Bearden’s Logan Nelson was ready for prime time again Tuesday night.
The freshman goalkeeper showed no signs of nerves as the Bulldogs defeated Maryville 3-1 at the Kerr Family Soccer Complex.
Bearden (9-1-3, 4-0-1 in District 4-4A) all but clinched the district’s No. 1 seed with the win over Maryville (13-1-2, 4-1-1), which finished district play and will be the No. 2 or 3 seed.
