Mark Underwood isn’t your typical 9-hole hitter in a baseball lineup.
The junior left-fielder certainly isn’t your everyday Farragut High School baseball standout, either.
But in a year’s time, he’s gone from 2021 jayvee-team regular to 2022 varsity starter — and making the game-deciding plays Friday in the Admirals’ 7-5 win over Sevier County in a Class 4A state sectional.
“It’s just good to get out here and finally contribute with the team,” he said.
