After Friday’s second round of the TSSAA football playoffs, a dozen area teams are still in the hunt for state championships.
Five teams – Greenback, Alcoa, Greeneville, Catholic and Maryville – remain alive in their quests to defend their 2017 state championships heading into the quarterfinals.
