Wide receiver Ashton Auker was at a crossroads last spring during his junior year at William Blount.
His football coach for the Governors, Philip Shadowens, resigned in early January, citing minor health issues.
Then one of Auker’s best friends, quarterback Matthew Clemmer, decided to transfer from William Blount to Maryville for his senior season.
So Auker opted to make a move too before his senior year, and he transferred from William Blount to Farragut after the spring semester.
