GREENEVILLE – The much-anticipated Class 4A matchup is finally here.
Let the hype begin.
Top-ranked Greeneville travels to No. 2 Anderson County Friday in a battle of 12-0 teams in the state quarterfinals.
Fans of both teams have been speculating about the showdown all season.
“They got it now,” said Greeneville coach Eddie Spradlen, whose Greene Devils blitzed Gibbs 58-28 Friday night in Round 2 of the playoffs.
“You want us, you got us,” said Spradlen.
