Players are selected on postseason scores, ability level, team success, coach recommendations, etc…
BOYS GOLF
FIRST TEAM
Harrison Thompson (Catholic, senior): The 5SP Co-Player of the Year finished 11th at the Division II-AA state tournament with scores of 74 and 72 at state. The West Virginia signee was medalist in region play with a 69 at Signal Mountain.
Ethan Whitaker (Halls, junior): The 5SP Co-Player of the Year tied for 11th at the Class AA state tournament with rounds of 75 and 71 at Sevierville Golf Club. Whitaker, a Chattanooga commit, was medalist with a 67 at the Region 2-AA Tournament.
Will Bacon (Kingston, junior): Bacon finished third in the Class A state tournament, leading Kingston to another team title with rounds of 72 and 73 at Sevierville Golf Club. Bacon was medalist in Region 2-A play at Springbrook with a 68 and also shot 66 in district-tournament play.
Collin Keino (Maryville Apostolic, sophomore): This talented lefty made a huge splash in the 2022 season with a tie for fourth place in the Division II-A state tournament, carding rounds of 75 and 74 at Sevierville Golf Club. He also shot 71 in both the region- and district-tournament rounds.
Cooper Russell (CAK, sophomore): The Warriors won Division II-A state once again, and Russell actually tied for first place. Though he lost in a playoff for the solo title, Russell finished with rounds of 74 and 73 at Sevierville Golf Club after signing for 73 at region (Bear Trace Harrison Bay).
Bryson White (CAK, sophomore): White came up big and helped CAK win yet another Division II-A state title thanks to his tie for sixth place (77-74) in the season finale. He also shot a 72 at Bear Trace Harrison Bay in the region tournament.
Aidan Collier (North Greene): The Lipscomb signee and 2022 5Star Preps Masters Championship earned district medalist honors with a 68 and qualified for the state tournament with a round of 72 in the region-tournament round.
SECOND TEAM
Riley Parsons (Alcoa, junior): Tied for ninth at Class A state (73-80) and was medalist (71) at Region 1-A Tournament at Egwani.
Jacob Rose (Grace Christian, sophomore): District medalist (67) at Three Ridges; Fired 73 in region tournament.
Tate Woodruff (Webb, junior): Tied for 12th in the Division II-AA state tournament with round of 73 and 74. Shot 74 at region.
Blake Russell (CAK, freshman): Finished 11th at Division II-A state with 76 and 78 scores. Shot 74 at region at Harrison Bay.
Jack Bentz (Oak Ridge, sophomore): Tied for 19th at Class AA state (78-73); shot 74 at region (Green Meadow) and 68 at district (Willow Creek)
Blake Woody (Kingston, senior): Helped Kingston win Class A state with a 12th-place finish (81-73); 76 at region (Springbrook) and 66 at district (Lakeside).
Alex Broyles (Greeneville, senior): Tied for 17th (76-74) at Class AA state; 75 at region (Elizabethton Muni) and 68 at district (Sevierville).
THIRD TEAM
Jaden Morrell (Bearden, junior): Medalist (67) at District 4-AA at Willow Creek; 78 at Region 2-AA at Green Meadow
Noah Witten (Alcoa, junior): Tied for ninth (79-74) at Class A state; 75 at Region 1-A at Egwani
Kolben Gregg (South Greene, sophomore): Fourth (73-75) at Class A state, 79 at Region 1-A at Egwani, 78 at District
Cooper Roberts (First Baptist Academy, junior): Tied for 13th (80-77) at Division II-A state, 76 at Region at Harrison Bay, 72 at District
Tanner Varney (CAK, eighth grade): Tied for 16th (80-78), 71 at Region at Bear Trace Harrison Bay; 77 at District
Owen Queener (Farragut, junior): Shot 69 at District 4-AA at Willow Creek; 77 at Region 2-AA at Green Meadow
Bryce Harmon (Bearden, sophomore): Tied for 28th (80-74) at Class AA state, 74 at Region 2-AA at Green Meadow; 72 at District at Willow Creek

Lane Stokes (First Baptist Academy), Nick Talley (Maryville), Kaden Shropshire (Cocke County), Bowen Brantley (Halls), Landon Dyer (First Baptist Academy), Drew Bolton (Central), Blake Dawson (Karns), Gavin Sells (Greeneville), Dougie Fezell (Greeneville), Jake Sheffield (Maryville), Brady Harville (Farragut), Ethan Arneson (Kingston), Will Mioduski (Kingston).
GIRLS GOLF
FIRST TEAM
Lauren Davis (Halls, sophomore): The 5Star Preps Player of the Year tied for ninth at the Class AA state tournament with rounds of 73 and 79. Davis was the medalist (74) at the Region 2-AA Tournament at Green Meadow and medalist (73) at the District 3-AA Tournament at Three Ridges.
Kailey Lane (Kingston, junior): Lane leveled up at Class A state, taking third with rounds of 73 and 68 at Sevierville. She shot 80 at the Region 2-A Tournament at Springbrook and 79 in the district round at Lakeside.
Brylee Crouse (Kingston, junior): Crouse’s final round at Class A state helped the Kingston girls finish as runner-up. Her rounds of 80 and 74 at state placed her fourth. She was medalist (74) at Region 2-A (Springfield) after shooting 76 in district.
Lorien Sweet (Greenback, junior): Sweet tied for fifth at Class A state after firing rounds of 77 and 80 at Sevierville. She was a region runner-up with a 76 at Springbrook in the Region 2-A Tournament.
Joslin Nave (Sevier County, senior): Nave proved to be a consistent performer in the postseason, tying for 14th at state (79-78) in the Class AA state tournament. She was medalist (73) in the District 2-AA Tournament at Sevierville and carded a 77 in the Region 1-AA Tournament at Elizabethton.
Emery Fisher (Berean, senior): Fisher’s 73 in the district tournament gave her medalist honors. After shooting 76 at the Division II-A East region tournament at Harrison Bay, Fisher then tied for eighth (77-80) at state.
Grady Thomas (CAK, eighth grade): Playing up on the varsity level didn’t faze Thomas. She tied for 11th at state with scores of 83 and 76 after being medalist (72) in the region tournament round at Harrison Bay. She shot 78 in CAK’s district tournament.
SECOND TEAM
Calley Holbert (West, sophomore): Rebounded from 83 at region to tie for 12th at Class AA state with two 78s.
Palmer Sykes (Webb School, junior): Tied for sixth at Division II-AA state with 75 and 78; carded 90 at region.
Parker Miller (Maryville, senior): After rounds of 82 (district) and 83 (region), Miller tied for 16th at Class AA state with 78 and 81.
Isabella Coughlin (CAK, freshman): Tied for 11th (79-80) at Division II-A state but also shot 78 at Region at Harrison Bay and 80 at District.
Alexis Fishel (CAK, sophomore): Finished 19th (83-86) at Division II-A state; 78 at Region at Harrison Bay, 75 at District.
Bailey McGaha (Halls, senior): McGaha posted 79 in both the district and region rounds; tied for 31st (88-87) at Class AA state.
Maya Hira (Bearden, junior): Medalist (73) at District 4-AA at Willow Creek; 86 at Region 2-AA at Green Meadow.
