One season ends. Another one begins.
The Bearden girls’ basketball team rolled into the postseason Monday night with a 61-50 victory over visiting Alcoa in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Bearden (29-0), the state’s top-ranked Class 4A team, ran its winning streak to 51 games dating back to last season when the Lady Bulldogs won their last 22 games and the state championship.
