SEYMOUR – There’s a lot on the line in these region basketball semifinals.
Win and advance.
Lose and it’s the end of the road.
One team’s storybook season continued Monday in the Region 2-AAA semifinals at Seymour High School.
The red-hot Halls girls handled Northview Academy with shocking ease, eliminating the Lady Cougars 57-35.
The win moves the Lady Red Devils (24-7) into Wednesday’s 7 p.m. region championship game opposite host Seymour (24-7).
The Lady Eagles cruised past Clinton 65-34 in their semifinal game Monday.
Both Halls and Seymour automatically qualify for sectional play on Saturday.
