ALCOA — The Powell Panthers won it all in Class 5A in 2021 and then reached the state semifinals last year.
But many of the pillars from those two successful campaigns have graduated and landed on college football rosters.
“We know our offensive identity is going to be a little different,” said Powell coach Matt Lowe. “We know we’re replacing a lot.”
Tuesday’s scrimmage at Alcoa offered an early iteration of what the Powell Panthers could be this fall.
