Safe to say that in East Tennessee this fall it’s going to be The Season of the Running Back.
You might not think that, especially after Maryville star Noah Vaughn left to go play at Virginia and after two-time Mr. Football winner DeSean Bishop graduated Karns and headed to join the University of Tennessee football program’s backfield.
But now that their shadows are gone, one can more easily see the vast pool of tailback talent on tap for 2023.
