CLINTON — Anderson County quarterback Izaiah Hall stayed on the field after the Mavericks’ scrimmage was over Friday night, perhaps to just let everything that happened sink in a little bit.
The senior who transferred in from Jefferson County has been given the reins of the Anderson County offense.
It was an offense that averaged 41.5 points per game last season with Walker Martinez at quarterback on the way to a TSSAA Class 4A State Championship.
Hall looks to fill the big shoes of the now Carson-Newman quarterback.
