CORRYTON — Gibbs coach Brad Turner and Sevier County coach Todd Loveday each had reasons why they were looking forward to Friday’s scrimmage, as they prepare their respective teams for the start of high school football season in just two weeks.
The teams enter the season with some similarities, coming off winning records and playoff appearances, but with quarterback questions.
How did the coaches feel after the teams met at the revamped Ernest Whited Stadium for a half of football and then additional untimed series?
