Amari Lethgo gathered his offense under the tent after Halls’ first drive on Friday night against Hardin Valley. The drive stalled out at the Hawks’ 39 after a penalty.
Lethgo was fired up while talking to his offense. He felt he could have played better on the drive, and he knew the offense was capable of more.
“I was telling them to keep being confident,” Lethgo said. “It was on me because I missed a touchdown, but keep playing confident, we’re going to get it done.”
Lethgo and the Red Devils offense got it done, defeating HVA 31-0 and moving to 4-0 for the first time since 2020.
