KODAK — Once again there’s a monster showdown on the horizon between Greeneville and Elizabethton.
The longtime rivals will meet Friday night at Elizabethton for the Region 1-4A championship in the final week of the regular season.
Greeneville (7-0, 5-0) did its part Friday night to insure the marquee matchup by posting a 31-0 win over much-improved Northview Academy (6-3, 3-2).
“When you talk about high school football, especially in East Tennessee, it (Greeneville vs. Elizabethton) is the game everybody wants to see,” said Greene Devils coach Eddie Spradlen.
