STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Tenn. — Gary Barnes’ Powell Panthers have enjoyed a hot start to the 2023-24 basketball season, entering Wednesday morning’s contest against Gibbs with a 12-1 record and as one of the surprise teams in the area.
