UNDERCLASSMAN OTY — Natalya Hodge, Bearden
FIRST TEAM
Sydney Mains (Catholic, senior, guard): The 2024 Division II-AA Miss Basketball winner and two-time 5Star Preps Player of the Year led the Lady Irish to another state championship. She averaged 18.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Natalya Hodge (Bearden, sophomore, guard): A Class 4A Miss Basketball finalist, Power 5 prospect and two-time 5Star Preps Underclassman of the Year, Hodge powered a 30-win Bearden team with 22 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.1 assists per game.
Karina Bystry (McMinn Central, junior, guard): With multiple 40-point outbursts this past season, Division I prospect Bystry helped McMinn Central win 30 games and reach the Class 2A state tournament with 21.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.7 assists per game.
Molly Masingale (McMinn Central, senior, guard): A Wofford signee, Masingale set the tone for a 30-win Chargerette squad with 20.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 3.2 steals per game. She had 26 points with six 3s in a state quarterfinal against York.
Maddy Newman (Gatlinburg-Pittman, senior, forward): The Class 2A Miss Basketball finalist and Tennessee Tech signee helped G-P reach the state semifinals. She averaged 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game.
Meeyah Green (Webb, sophomore, guard): A Power 5 prospect and intense defender, Green helped propel Webb to a Division II-AA state championship game appearance. She had 27 points in a state semifinal win. She averaged 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
K.J. McNealy (Farragut, sophomore, guard): A rising recruit among Division I programs, McNealy broke through this past season with 12.8 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game while helping Farragut win a Region 2-4A Tournament Championship.
SECOND TEAM
Carsyn Swaney (Heritage, junior, guard): An MTSU commit, Swaney paced Heritage to a state appearance with 19.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Nya Burns (Gatlinburg-Pittman, sophomore, guard): Helped G-P make state semifinals with 11.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals per game.
Maddie Braden (CAK, freshman, guard): Led CAK to DII-A semifinals with 16.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 steals, 2.0 assists per contest.
Skylar Walden (TKA, freshman, guard): Led TKA to DII-A semifinals with 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists per game.
Amaya Redd (Catholic, junior, guard): Helped Catholic repeat in DII-AA with 9.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 steals per game.
Kami Wilson (Lakeway, junior, guard): One of the area’s top talents, Wilson averaged 27.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals per game.
Amelia Pfeiffer (Alcoa, senior, forward): The Tennessee Tech signee averaged 11.5 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.0 assists, 1.5 blocks per game.
THIRD TEAM
Cybil Penland (Sevier County, junior, guard): Penland helped pace a run to state with 12.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Harmony Sullivan (Morristown East, junior, guard): Averaged 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.
Karmine Carmichael (Cocke Co., freshman, forward): Carmichael’s play (11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds) helped CC make the state semis.
Reese Roberts (Karns, junior, guard): One of the area’s best in 4A, Roberts averaged 15 points, four rebounds, four steals and 3.5 assists.
Rylee Roberts (Karns, junior, guard): Karns’ top scorer (16 points per game), Roberts also averaged 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists.
Jenna Johnson (Oak Ridge, junior, wing): Averaged 11.4 points and 9.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the Lady Wildcats (21-8).
Ayana Porter (Oak Ridge, junior, guard): The District 3-4A MVP averaged 16.6 points and made 45.1 percent of her 3-point attempts.
Annie Priest (Farragut, junior, guard): One of East Tennessee’s truest point guards, Priest averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
