The Central Bobcats defeated Powell, 6-2, on Tuesday, April 16, to claim the District 3-4A baseball championship — the program’s first regular-season district championship since 2001. Andrew Hill, the senior standout for Central and ETSU signee, went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs while also throwing a complete game with eight strikeouts.
