With just 1.5 seconds remaining on the clock in Wednesday’s Region 2-AAA girls’ championship, there was no question who would be taking the final shot for the Oak Ridge High School girls’ basketball team.
Jada. Guinn.
Guinn, a Class AAA Miss Basketball finalist and Tennessee Tech signee who has proved her worth many times over this season, added to her growing list of accolades by taking the handoff from the inbound near midcourt, darting down the sideline a bit and burying a deep 3-pointer over a defender at the buzzer.
