Farragut senior pitcher Emma MacTavish was in a groove Monday night, and she thanked the defense for helping her find it.
MacTavish fired a two-hitter as the Lady Admirals posted a 4-0 victory over visiting Central in the Region 2-4A elimination semifinals.
Farragut (26-10) advances to Wednesday’s region championship and earns a berth in Friday’s state sectional round, where a victory clinches a state tournament bid.
