Expectations are always high for Maryville High School football. The program has won 17 TSSAA state football championships, all-time.
So, yeah, hoisting the gold ball at the end of the season is always the goal there.
But it’s been almost five full years since Maryville enjoyed that feeling. And for the Rebels, that likely feels like a century long wait.
Could we see them return to glory this fall?
Early signs are much more optimistic than in 2023. Let’s have a look…
