When a postseason golf tournament is held at Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club, you can safely assume that Halls High School will be in contention to win.
And on Monday, both the Red Devils and Lady Red Devils from the Halls golf program won titles there.
Evan Caldwell fired an even-par round of 70 to lead the Halls boys team to a 29-shot team victory. The Red Devils finished at 6-0ver 286. West was runner-up at 315 and Anderson County third (327).

Halls senior Lauren Davis earned female medalist honors with a 6-over 77, helping the Lady Red Devils take first in team play at 17-over 159.
West (162) and Gibbs (163) finished second and third, respectively.
The Region 2-AA Tournament will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Oak Ridge Country Club.
