Trey Thompson, the standout forward from the Greeneville High School basketball team who recently received an offer from Tennessee, can’t help but look forward to his recruiting trip this week.
Sure, it will afford him the opportunity to see multiple college campuses in a four- or five-day span.
But given his hometown of Greeneville hasn’t had running water because of the damage and aftermath of the flood, just staying in a hotel will give him back some of the amenities he used to know.
Life is changing in many ways for the 6-foot-8 junior.
