LOUDON — Senior Night was special for the Loudon football team Friday night.
The Redskins celebrated a 35-3 victory over rival Kingston, reclaiming the Jim “Hoot” Gibson Trophy they lost to the Yellow Jackets last season.
Loudon coach Jeff Harig said his 2024 team is winning the hearts of Redskins fans.
“I just think that they’re likable guys,” Harig said. “Loudon fans, they’re very knowledgeable about the game. They’ve never put pressure on me to win or lose. It’s always, ‘Play the game the right way,’ and these guys definitely do that.”
