MARYVILLE, Tenn. — Mack Serr played a game he will never forget Friday night, and it helped push Maryville into the Class 6A state semifinals.
The junior tight end/defensive end caught a touchdown pass, returned an interception for touchdown, and had two sacks and a fumble recovery in Maryville’s 41-20 victory over visiting Bearden in a state quarterfinal game.
“Never in my life have I had a game like that,” Serr said.
