Monday was chock full of drama, as a few area high school girls basketball teams fought off elimination and earned state sectional berths.
Monday was region semifinal night, and region finalists will get to play in Saturday’s TSSAA Girls State Sectional (substate) round.
But first, region finalists will play Wednesday to see which teams will host sectionals and which ones will travel.
So here are some standouts from Monday, as well as some extra info from the wins.
