Webb School of Knoxville football coach Don Mahoney isn’t rushing a decision on the Spartans’ starting quarterback for the 2025 season opener Aug. 22 against Upperman.
Mahoney is taking the same approach as last year when current junior Gage Porter and 2024 graduate Cruise Cunningham competed for the QB job.
