PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Natalya Hodge (Bearden, junior, guard)
UNDERCLASSMAN OF THE YEAR: Skylar Walden (TKA, sophomore, guard)
HOW PLAYERS ARE SELECTED: This is not a recruiting/prospect list. The selections come from a 70-school-wide area, and placements of the players are based on criteria such as individual skill set, team success, 2024-25 statistics, coach recommendations, 5Star Preps evaluations, awards won, college offers/interest, and character.
FIRST TEAM
Karina Bystry (McMinn Central, senior, G): The Class 2A Miss Basketball winner and Northern Kentucky signee averaged 26.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.2 assists per game. She made 103 total 3s.
Meeyah Green (Webb, junior, G): The Division II-AA Miss Basketball and Clemson commit led Webb to a state championship, averaging 14.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
Carsyn Swaney (Heritage, senior, G): An MTSU signee and Class 3A Miss Basketball finalist, Swaney helped captain Heritage to a 3A state championship in March, averaging 18.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.3 steals while amassing 85 made 3s.
Natalya Hodge (Bearden, junior, G): A Miss Basketball finalist, District 4-4A MVP and 2,000-point scorer, Hodge averaged 25.7 points, 3.9 steals, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists during her 2024-25 season.
Amaya Redd (Catholic, senior, G/F): The fuel behind Catholic’s march to the Division II-AA state semifinals, Redd — a Tennessee Tech signee — averaged 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a senior.
Skylar Walden (The King’s Academy, sophomore, G): Walden guided TKA to a state runner-up finish with 16.9 points, 4.9 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per outing. She also recorded 127 made 3s and shot 39.4 percent from 3.
Ayana Porter (Oak Ridge, senior, G): Porter came up big again and again during Oak Ridge’s run to reaching the 4A state tournament. And she averaged 15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 steals, and 3.7 assists per game. Porter knocked in 90 made 3s.
SECOND TEAM
Maddie Braden (CAK, sophomore, G): A Miss Basketball finalist, Braden posted 19.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.2 assists per game during the 2024-25 season.
Chloe Heath (Heritage, senior, F): The Carson-Newman signee averaged 15.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game while playing a significant part in Heritage’s run to the 3A state championship.
Maliyah Glasper (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior, G): Glasper guided G-P to the 2A semifinals with h18.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 3.0 assists per game. She made 100 3-pointers during her junior season.
K.J. McNealy (Farragut, junior, G/F): McNealy averaged a double-double (12.5 points, 10.5 rebounds) to go along with 4.2 assists and 2.9 steals per game.
Ze’Yana Stewart (Oak Ridge, senior, G): Stewart played a massive role in Oak Ridge getting to state. Her averages: 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.1 assists, and a team-high 50.7 percent from the floor.
Harmony Sullivan (Morristown East, senior, G): The centerpiece of a 28-win team, Sullivan averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.2 steal. The Carson-Newman signee had 31 points, 11 rebounds in a sectional game against Bearden.
Nya Burns (Grace Christian, junior, G): A district MVP and Division I prospect, Burns led Grace with 16 points, five rounds, three assists and two steals per game in her first season with the program.
THIRD TEAM
Payton Rollins (South-Doyle, sophomore, G): Rollins paced S-D in their run to the region semis with 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 steals.
Gwen Carroll (Alcoa, junior, F): Carroll broke out this season and helped Alcoa reach the 2A sectionals with 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game.
Colie Thompson (CAK, junior, G): Thompson leveled up this season, posting these averages: 18.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.3 steals.
Camryn Brown (Northview Academy, senior, G): Brown led 3A runner-up Northview in scoring with 13.6 points per game and made a team-high 91 3-pointers along the way with 4.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.3 assists per game.
Cybil Penland (Sevier County, senior, G): A Carson-Newman signee, Penland led SC to a 4A state sectionals appearance and averaged 12.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Kendall Murphy (Bearden, senior, G): The Lenoir-Rhyne signee helped Bearden make it to the 4A semifinals with 12.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 steals per game.
Kami Wilson (Lakeway, senior, G): The Chattanooga signee scored 25.2 points per game to go along with five rebounds, two assists and two steals per outing.
FOURTH TEAM
Kyndall Mays (Webb, freshman, F): The inside force on a state-championship squad, Mays contributed 13 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Lexi Hammock (Coalfield, sophomore, G): Hammock led Coalfield to the Class 1A state semifinals with 15.9 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.
Kara Gresham (Lenoir City, junior, G): Gresham powered Lenoir City to a state sectionals appearance with 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals per game.
Karmine Carmichael (Cocke county, sophomore, F): Carmine played a key role in steering Cocke County back to state with 12.7 points, 7.8 boards, 2.5 steals and 1.6 blocks per game.
Kyleigh Cawood (Midway, junior, G): Cawood dropped 19.7 points per contest but also gave the Wave six rebounds, four steals and two assists per game.
Jordan White (Northview Academy, senior, G): The engine behind Northview’s state runner-up finish, White averaged 10.1 points, 5.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest.
Chloe Mejias (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior, G): Mejias had some big nights in the 2024-25 season, helped G-P reach the 3A semis, and averaged 14.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game.
