The 2018-19 boys’ basketball season treated the 5Star Preps coverage well.
Webb won its first Division II-A state championship. So did Bearden, but in Class AAA — normally dominated by Memphis.
Fulton reached the Class AA state for a second consecutive season.
And two-time, state runner-up Cosby visited the state tournament for the first time in more than a decade.
But as we turn the page into the opening week of the 2019-20 season, here are 10 teams we expect to have big seasons and 20 more we are keeping our eyes on for possible postseason runs.
