Yep, anticipation for another great season of girls’ high school basketball is at a fever pitch.
Several teams in the 5Star Preps coverage area appear to have what it takes to make it to the state tournament in Murfreesboro – from Division II to Class AAA.
A check of the numbers over the last four years shows just how good girls’ high school basketball is in the area.
No fewer than six schools have accrued more than 100 victories over the last four seasons.
Oak Ridge leads the way, with 119 wins against 19 losses.
Also topping the 100-win mark are Bearden (107-23), Morristown West (106-19), Northview Academy (104-20), McMinn Central (102-32) and Grainger (102-33).
