FIRST TEAM
FIRST-TEAM RUNNERS
Christian Langlois (Bearden, senior): The 5Star Preps Boys T&F Athlete of the Year and Tennessee signee placed first in the Large Class 100 (10.43 seconds) and first in the Large Class 200 (21.09). No sprinter, regardless of class, topped his two times in the state meet.
Jaden Stevenson (Greeneville, junior): Stevenson had a monster Large Class state meet, finishing second in the long jump (22-10.5), fourth in the 100 (10.75) and fifth in the 200 (21.72).
Michael Spurgeon (HVA, senior): The KIL 110 hurdles champion held his own in the Large Classification state meet in Murfreesboro, placing fifth in 14.71 seconds.
Ethan Fulford (CAK, junior): Fulford proved to be one of the most active athletes from the area at state. He finished first in the Division II-A 110 hurdles (15.89), first in the 300 hurdles (40.72), third in the decathlon (5,117 points) and fourth in the pole vault (11-0).
Kaden Keller (HVA, junior): One of, if not, the top distance runner in the Greater Knoxville Area, Keller ran the 1600 in the Large Class meet in 4:21.47, taking fourth place. He finished sixth in the 3200 at 9:31.76. He was the KIL champion in both of those events in early May.
Austin Rome (HVA, junior): A key cog in Hardin Valley’s team success, Rome won the KIL championship in the 400 meter and then placed third in the 400 at the TSSAA Large Meet with a time of 48.8 seconds. Rome was also the runner-up in the KIL 200-meter race.
Tyler Ebbert (Farragut, junior): The 800-meter KIL champion claimed second in the East sectional 800 and then took fifth in the TSSAA Large Class 800 at 1:57.26.
Cooper Lowe (Maryville, junior): Cooper Lowe was the low finisher in the East sectional 300 hurdles race and then took eighth in the state in the 300 hurdles at the TSSAA Large Class.
FIRST TEAM – FIELD EVENTS
Matthew Bretscher (L&N Stem, senior): Bretscher finished first in the TSSAA Small Class pole vault competition at 13-0.
Jordan Harris (Alcoa, sophomore): Harris helped Alcoa win state, claiming gold in the long jump at 22-11.25 and fourth in the 200.
Major Newman (Alcoa, junior): Newman also helped Alcoa claim a state title, finishing first (41-7.5) in the triple jump and fifth in the long jump.
Mason Collins (Farragut, junior): Collins won the TSSAA Large class state decathlon championship with a whopping 6,594 points.
Grant Campbell (Heritage, sophomore): Though an underclassman, Campbell rose above all competition. He finished first place in the Large Class high jump at 6-8.
Kevin Burkett (Gatlinburg-Pittman, senior): Burkett, an Elon football signee, finished first in the Small Class shot-put competition, logging a mark of 56-2.
Tristan Boatman (Jefferson County, senior): Boatman narrowly missed out on a state championship, but his mark of 55-6 claimed runner-up in the Large Class shot put.
Dominic Schroeder (Jefferson County, senior): An offensive lineman by trade, Schroeder excelled this spring, too. He finished third (54-7.5) in the Large Class shot put and fifth (145-4) in discus.
Ben Centers (William Blount, senior): After taking third in sectional, Centers took second in the state in Large Class discus with a mark of 158-3.
Ben Smith (HVA, junior): The KIL long-jump champ was also fourth in the East Sectional 200, runner-up in sectional long jump and fourth in sectional triple-jump.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Chris Frary (Alcoa): Frary helped the Tornadoes win their first-ever TSSAA state track & field championship.

Logan Babb (Kingston, junior): fourth in Small Class 110 hurdles
Abdul Jaber (Alcoa, junior): third in Small Class 1600, third in 3200
Andrew Cross (CAK, senior): third in Division II-A state in 1600, fourth in 3200
Andrew Schulz (HVA, senior): sixth in Large Class 1600
Braylon Harmon (Catholic, freshman): third in Division II-AA state 400
Mitchell McCown (HVA, junior): 10th in Large Class 3200
Connor Evans (Farragut, senior): fifth place in Large Class 400
Adam Herron (Oak Ridge, senior): seventh in Large Class 800

Cash Contreras (Maryville, sophomore): fifth in Large Class pole vault
Sam Miller (HVA, junior): fifth in Large Class pole vault
Lorenzo Currie (Tennessee School for the Deaf, senior): second in Small Class long jump
Bradee McCoy (Webb, junior): fourth in Division II-A triple jump
Landon Ford (Alcoa, senior): third in Small Class triple jump, fourth in decathlon
Chi McNeil-Harrison (CAK, junior): sixth at Division II-A high jump
Braxton Baumann (Alcoa, senior): fourth in Small School shot put, third in discus, fifth in decathlon
Trent Howe (Oak Ridge, senior): third in Large Class discus
Jude Green (Alcoa, sophomore): second in Small Class decathlon
Grant Coggin (Farragut, senior): Large Class sectional runner-up in pole vault
