FORWARDS
Lucas Nordin, junior, Bearden: Nordin, the 5Star Preps Player of the Year, scored a school-record 38 goals and had eight assists as Bearden won district and region titles and reached the Class AAA state championship match. He was the District 4-AAA, Region 2-AAA Player of the Year, and Bearden’s Team MVP.
Spencer Bernard, senior, Webb: The Rhodes commit had 10 goals and nine assists as the Spartans advanced to the Division II-AA sectional (state quarterfinal) before losing to Memphis Christian Brothers. He had seven goals and five assists against region opponents.

Seth Meade, sophomore, Maryville: Meade scored 24 goals and had 12 assists as the Rebels advanced to the Region 2-AAA semifinals before losing at West. He was the District 4-AAA Forward of the Year and an all-region selection.
Masudi Nyembo, senior, Austin-East: Nyembo posted 21 goals and 12 assists as the Roadrunners advanced to the Class AA state quarterfinals. He was the District 4-AA Offensive Player of the Year and scored the only goal in the 2-1 state quarterfinal loss to Chattanooga Red Bank.
Jacob Eubanks, junior, Halls: Eubanks had 22 goals and eight assists – a program-high output for a season in a decade — as the Red Devils advanced to the Class AA state sectionals before losing at Greeneville. He was the District 4-AA Player of the Year.
Jaden Dyer, freshman, Alcoa: Dyar had 12 goals and one assist as the Tornadoes advanced to the Class A state tournament. He had a goal and an assist in the 3-2 state quarterfinal loss to Madison Magnet.
Taylor Aaron, senior, Central: Aaron had 22 goals this season – after posting 25 last year – as the Bobcats advanced to the District 3-AAA semifinals before losing to West.
MIDFIELDERS
Dylan Kolnick, senior, Bearden: Kolnick, a senior team captain, had six goals and five assists and helped Bearden advance to the Class AAA state championship match for the third year. He was the District 4-AAA Midfielder of the Year.
Cody Kihlberg, senior, Gatlinburg-Pittman: Kihlberg, a holding midfielder, led the Highlanders to the Class A state championship after a runner-up finish in 2021. He earned all-district and all-region honors.
Thomas Tisdale, sophomore, Maryville: Tisdale had 15 goals and 16 assists as Maryville advanced to the Region 2-AAA semifinals before losing at West. He was on All-District 4-AAA and all-region teams.
Drew Shelton, junior, Greeneville: Shelton posted 21 goals and seven assists as Greeneville advanced to the Class AA state semifinals. He was the District 1-AA Offensive Player of the Year and the Region 1-AA Player of the Year.
Kent Koester, senior, Sevier County: Koester had 10 goals and four assists as Sevier County won the District 2-AAA regular season and tournament before losing to Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett in the Region 1-AAA semifinals. He was the District 2-AAA Midfielder of the Year and an all-region player.
DEFENDERS
Nima Bahrami, senior, West: Bahrami led a defense that allowed less than one goal per game (.828 goals-against average, nine shutouts) as West advanced to the Class AAA state quarterfinals. He was on the All-District 3-AAA first team.
William Gallaher, junior, Farragut: Gallaher earned all-district and all-region honors as the Admirals advanced to the District 4-AAA semifinals before losing to state champion Bearden.
Preston Holmes, senior, Webb: The ETSU signee was a top defender as the Spartans allowed only six goals during region play on their way to the Division II-AA sectionals (state quarterfinal).
Dylan Duke, senior, Oak Ridge: Duke was the District 3-AAA Defender of the Year as the Wildcats advanced to the Region 2-AAA semifinals before losing to Bearden.
Mason Sandidge, senior, Hardin Valley Academy: Sandidge was the District 4-AAA Defender of the Year as the Hawks advanced to the District 4-AAA semifinals before losing to Maryville.
GOALKEEPER
Jake Spirko, senior, West: Spirko was the District 3-AAA Goalkeeper of the Year as the Rebels advanced to the Class AAA state quarterfinals. He posted 115 saves and nine shutouts with a .828 goals-against average.
ALL-5SP SECOND TEAM
FORWARDS
Alex Rhodes, junior, Gibbs: Rhodes posted 21 goals and six assists and was the District 4-AA Player of the Year.
Mason Keeton, sophomore, Oneida: Keeton had the team-high 25 goals as Oneida advanced to the Class A state sectionals. He was the District 3-A Offensive Player of the Year and Region 2-A Player of the Year.
Cade Snelson, senior, Greeneville: Snelson had 15 goals and six assists as Greeneville advanced to the Class AA state semifinals. He was the Region 1-AA Offensive Player of the Year and an all-district selection.
Chris Grill, senior, Catholic: Grill posted 15 goals and three assists as the Irish fell in their season finale to Chattanooga Baylor.
Jaylon Green, senior, Webb: Green led the Spartans in goals (11) on their way to the Division II-AA state sectionals (quarterfinals). He also had five assists, and in region play had seven goals and three assists.
Carlos Martinez, senior, Powell: Martinez had 23 goals and seven assists as Powell advanced to the District 3-AAA semifinals before losing to Oak Ridge. He was the district’s Attacking Player of the Year and was on the All-Region 2-AAA first team.
MIDFIELDERS
Chase Stokely, junior, CAK: Stokely had another solid soccer season in 2022 and scored 16 goals and 19 assists for the Warriors.
Julian Strickland, senior, Bearden: Strickland, a senior team captain, had five goals and 13 assists, helping Bearden reach the Class AAA state championship match for the third year.
Jackson Novinger, junior, West: Novinger was the District 3-AAA Player of the Year as West advanced to the Class AAA state quarterfinals. He posted five goals and 14 assists.
Alden Wilson, junior, West: Wilson had seven goals and six assists, helping the Rebels advance to the Class AAA state quarterfinals. He was on the All-District 3-AAA first team.
Gabe Hacker, senior, Oneida: Hacker, the school’s career assist leader (55), posted 21 goals and 20 assists this year as Oneida reached the Class A state sectionals. He was the District 3-A Player of the Year and Region 2-A Co-Midfielder of the Year.
Quinn Brennan, senior, Catholic: Brennan had 12 goals and eight assists as the Irish lose their season finale to Chattanooga Baylor.
Ezekiel Nsabiyunva, senior, Austin-East: The Tennessee Wesleyan signee had three goals and 14 assists as the Roadrunners advanced to the Class AA state quarterfinals.
Brandon Moreira, senior, Sevier County: Moreira had four goals and 10 assists as Sevier County won District 2-AAA regular-season and tournament titles before losing to Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett in the Region 1-AAA semifinals. He was the District 2-AAA Co-Player of the Year.
DEFENDERS
Rudy Dardon, senior, Bearden: Dardon, a senior team captain, was the team’s defensive MVP as Bearden advanced to the Class AAA state championship match. He had six goals and six assists.
Oswaldo Godoy, junior, Gatlinburg-Pittman: Godoy was the top defender for the Highlanders’ Class A state championship team, which held opponents to one goal in its final five games.
Ulysses Quinones, junior, Maryville: Quinones was the top defender as the Rebels advanced to the Region 2-AAA semifinals before losing at West. He was chosen to all-district and all-region teams – moving from forward to center back before this year – for a defense that allowed 20 goals in 22 games.
Jack Bukovitz, junior, Farragut: Bukovitz was selected to all-district and all-region teams as the Admirals advanced to the District 4-AAA semifinals before losing to state champion Bearden.
Drew Hillyer, junior, Greeneville: Hillyer was the top defender as Greeneville advanced to the Class AA state semifinals. He was the District 1-AA and Region 1-AA Defensive Player of the Year.
Patrick McWilliams, senior, Halls: McWilliams (four goals, three assists) was the District 4-AA Defensive Player of the Year as Halls advanced to the Class AA sectionals before losing at Greeneville. He led a defense that posted seven shutouts and allowed an average of seven shots on goal.
GOALKEEPER
Logan Nelson, freshman, Bearden: Nelson entered as the starting keeper early in the season for Class AAA state runner-up Bearden and ultimately allowed just 10 goals in his 14 games. He helped post nine shutouts and only allowed two goals in district play.
