Jordyn Potts, Powell, senior, 6-0, 175
Playing with an injured shoulder the entire season, the Tennessee Tech signee still threw for 3,007 yards and 21 touchdowns, leading the Panthers to the Class 5A state semifinals.
Charlie Robinson, Webb, senior, 6-1, 185
A Division II-AA Mr. Football finalist and Navy signee, Robinson steered Webb to the state semifinals with 1,775 yards passing with 19 touchdowns. He also ran for 11 TDs and 763 yards.
Walker Martinez, Anderson County, senior, 6-0, 180
A Class 4A state champion, Class 4A Mr. Football finalist and 2022 5Star Preps Offensive Player of the Year, Martinez helped the Mavericks go 15-0 with 4,075 yards and 54 touchdowns during the 2022 season. Martinez signed with Carson-Newman.
Zach Lunsford, Alcoa, senior, 6-2, 205
A Carson-Newman signee and four-time Class 3A state champion, Lunsford won 2022 BlueCross Bowl MVP (3A) and wound up passing for 1,928 yards with 25 touchdowns as a senior.
Brady Hammonds, Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior, 6-2, 200
Completing 165 of 276 passes, Hammonds set school passing records galore in 2022, throwing for 2,941 yards and 36 touchdowns. He guided G-P to the Class 3A state quarterfinals.
SECOND TEAM
Landen Hensley (Campbell County, sophomore)
Threw for 3,244 yards and 39 touchdowns against 18 interceptions en route to winning Region 2-5A Newcomer of the Year.
Chandler Wilson (Carter, senior)
Wilson completed 281 passes for 2,856 yards with 31 touchdowns against eight interceptions. Also rushed for 370 yards and nine scores.
Bryson Palmer (Gibbs, senior)
Playing all road games in 2022, Palmer threw for 2,476 yards with 27 touchdowns and only five interceptions. Also rushed for 617 yards and eight TDs.
Carson Jessie (West, senior)
The Class 5A BlueCross Bowl MVP led West (15-0) to a state title, throwing for 1,816 yards and 21 touchdowns in his final prep season.
Jayden Neal (Catholic, sophomore)
Completed 185 of 326 passes for 2,586 yards and 19 touchdowns against 12 interceptions. He also rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns.

DeSean Bishop (Karns, senior, 5-11, 200)
The University of Tennessee signee and two-time Class 5A Mr. Football winner ran for 2,422 yards and 30 touchdowns in 11 games as a senior. He ranks second all-time in TSSAA career rushing yards with 8,356.
Noah Vaughn (Maryville, senior, 5-9, 185)
The Virginia signee and 6A Mr. Football finalist was on pace to set some rushing records at Maryville before giving way to injury in Week 10. Still, he ran for 1,301 yards with 16 touchdowns. He also had 235 yards receiving and two scores.
Brayden Latham (West, senior, 6-0, 200)
A Class 5A Mr. Football finalist and Eastern Kentucky signee, Latham led West to a 5A with 1,738 yards and 27 touchdowns on 205 attempts. He also had eight catches for 145 yards and two TDs.
Frank Johnson IV (Central, junior, 5-9, 200)
Johnson rushed for 1,805 yards and 21 scores in 12 games but also wound up running QB for the Bobcats midway through the season. He was 12 of 21 for 460 yards with six TDs.
SECOND TEAM
Gage LaDue (Maryville, junior)
Took over at the RB1 position late in the season and ran for 1,232 years and 16 touchdowns to go with a team-high 432 yards receiving and four TDs.
Connor Wheeler (Powell, sophomore)
The 5SP Offensive Underclassman of the Year ran for 1,693 yards and 21 touchdowns with 64 tackles, 13 pass breakups and two INTs.
Dejauvis Dozier (Oak Ridge, junior)
Splitting carries with Navy signee Jai Hundley, Dozier led OR in carries (150), rushing yards (1,150 yards) and rush TDs (15).
Tegan Avera (Gatlinburg-Pittman, sophomore)
Ran 283 times for 2,054 yards and 29 touchdowns for the Highlanders while adding 259 yards receiving and two TDs.

Marcellus Jackson (Fulton, senior, 5-9, 160)
The 2022 Class 4A Mr. Football and Tennessee Tech signee passed for 1,874 yards and 24 touchdowns but also ran for 1,437 yards and 17 touchdowns. He returned a punt for a score and had eight two-point conversions. Not to mention, he made 57 tackles, two interceptions and blocked two kicks.
Jordan Harris (Alcoa, senior, 5-10, 175)
The Tennessee Tech signee and Class 3A Mr. Football finalist rushed for roughly 1,100 yards for the Tornadoes and 20 touchdowns but had nearly 2,000 all-purpose yards and four interceptions on defense.
Ashton Auker (Farragut, senior ,5-9, 160)
The slot receiver and Campbellsville signee led Farragut in receptions (57), receiving yards (990) and receiving TDs (11) and all-purpose yards (1,476)
Nick Moog (Anderson County, junior, 5-10, 200)
Moog rushed for 1,440 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Class 4A state-champion Mavericks while also making 32 catches for 514 yards. He had 114 tackles and 14 tackles for loss on defense as a starting linebacker.
Braylon Harmon (Catholic, junior, 5-9, 170)
The Power 5 prospect led the Irish in receptions (56), receiving yards (1,130), receiving TDs (11), punt-return yards (214), kickoff return yards (436), defensive interceptions (two), scoring (13 touchdowns) and pass breakups (six).
SECOND TEAM
Carson Quillen (Greeneville, sophomore)
Had 563 yards rushing, seven TDs, 396 yards receiving, 1,242 all-purpose yards, 66 tackles, three interceptions and a defensive TD.
Elijah Cannon (Alcoa, junior)
Cannon forced four turnovers, scored two defensive touchdowns, caught two touchdowns, rushed for 800 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Jayden Miller (McMinn County, senior)
Miller began the year as QB1 but injury relegated him to a running back; he ran for 984 yards and 11 TDs; also had 43 tackles.
Daveon Shenault (Fulton, senior)
Shenault had 1,094 yards receiving and 10 TDs but finished with 1,537 all-purpose yards to go with two interceptions on defense, a defensive TD and 43 tackles.
Trey Wilhite (Lenoir City, junior)
Wilhite rang up 961 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns to go with his 82 tackles, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and five pass breakups.
WIDE RECEIVERS
FIRST TEAM
Ayden Greene (Powell, senior, 6-3, 180)
The Virginia Tech signee caught 66 passes as a senior for 1,127 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also had 39 tackles with three interceptions, helping Powell reach the 5A state semifinals.
Bryson Vowell (Anderson County, senior, 6-4, 185)
A Murray State football signee, Vowell finished his final prep season with 1,210 yards and 16 touchdowns for the 4A state champion Mavericks. His interception in the final seconds of the title game clinched the win.
Whittman Whaley (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior, 6-2, 205)
Whaley recently committed to Wake Forest as a linebacker. But on the prep level, he’s a dominant receiver. He had 70 catches for 1,387 yards and 19 touchdowns to go with his 77 tackles and 11 tackles for loss on defense.
Carlos Orr (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior, 6-3, 170)
A legit downfield threat, Orr hauled in 55 passes in 2022 for 1,035 yards and nine scores; what’s more: he also made 57 tackles and two interceptions on defense. Division I programs are taking heed.
Shavar Young (Webb School of Knoxville, freshman, 6-1, 170)
One of the most electrifying playmakers in the state, Young played a large role in getting Webb to the state semifinals with 40 catches, 664 receiving yards, nine touchdowns, 32 tackles, two interceptions and a 29.3-yard, punt-return average (two for TDs).
SECOND TEAM
Lucas Kendall (Clinton, senior)
Kendall was Joshuah Keith’s most productive wideout with 775 yards (on just 34 catches) and 13 TDs in 10 games.
Kaleb Harper (Carter, senior)
The Emory & Henry signee and speedster had 1,070 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Green Hornets in 2022.
Devon Jones (Campbell County, senior)
Campbell County had a monster year throwing the ball, and Jones benefitted with 1,162 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Braden Miller (Anderson County, senior)
One of the top receivers statistically in 2022, Miller had 1,132 yards and 15 touchdowns in a 4A championship run.
Adjatay Dabbs (Greeneville, senior)
Despite a nagging injury, Dabbs powered through for 692 yards and eight scores. He signed with Mercer.

R.J. Brooks (West, senior, 6-3, 240)
Brooks caught just 10 passes in West’s state-title run in 2022, but they were huge. He had eight touchdowns and 282 yards. He signed with Carson-Newman.

Lance Williams (Alcoa, senior, 6-3, 285)
A Virginia Tech signee, Williams won Class 3A Mr. Football and led Alcoa to its eighth consecutive championship.
Bubba Jeffries (Alcoa, senior, 6-4, 305)
Jeffries signed with Indiana and was a major component up front in Alcoa’s march to an eighth consecutive title.
Jay Wade (Webb, senior, 6-3, 275)
Coaches sing the praises of Wade, a talented lineman with college options and who helped Webb reach the semifinals.
Jones Conner (West, senior, 6-2, 285)
A University of the Cumberlands signee, Conner was the top offensive lineman on West’s 5A state championship team.
Cal Grubbs (Maryville, senior, 6-4, 290)
A longtime Liberty pledge, Grubbs spearheaded a dominant Maryville run game that featured two 1,000-yard backs.
Barrett Maddox (Clinton, senior, 6-6, 285)
An imposing figure in the trenches, Maddox’s force helped produce a high-octane Clinton offense. He signed with Vanderbilt.
Trevor Duncan (Catholic, senior, 6-5, 275)
Duncan had successful runs on the offensive and defensive line for the Irish. He signed with Tennessee.

A Power 5 prospect with a relentless pursuit, Soles racked up 135 tackles with 25 tackles for loss and 16 sacks in his junior season, not to mention his five forced fumbles and 47 QB pressures.
Jameiyes Mills (West, senior, 6-1, 275)
Arguably the heart and soul of the vaunted West defense, Mills made it go up front with 81 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and two blocked kicks. He signed with University of the Cumberlands.
C.J. Smith (West, junior, 6-3, 240)
Smith’s frame drips with major college potential and he’s starting to tap into that. He had 19 tackles for loss and nine sacks during the West Rebels’ march to the Class 5A championship.
Jason Manaker (Maryville, senior, 6-3, 210)
An unheralded pass rusher, Manaker made big waves as a senior. He had 22 tackles for loss, five blocked punts, 5.5 sacks, a safety and defensive touchdown to go with his 74 tackles.
Joe McCord (Alcoa, 6-2, 235)
McCord had nine tackles, two sacks and two tackles for loss in the 3A championship win, proving once again to be one of Alcoa’s most productive defenders. He wound up with 14 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles in 2022.
Tyson Pirtle (Bearden, senior, 6-2, 280)
Flip on Pirtle’s Hudl film and watch offensive lines struggle to handle this defensive tackle. Defense carried Bearden to the 6A playoffs, and Pirtle — a Mississippi Valley State signee — was the catalyst for that up front.

Evan Poticher (Northview Academy, junior)
Poticher erupted in 2022 with 87 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, 3.5 sacks and two blocked field goals.
Bryson Myers (Greeneville, junior)
This defensive end piled up 62 tackles with 16 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, 18 QB pressures and a defensive TD.
Nick Donato (The King’s Academy, senior)
A longtime producer on defense at TKA, Donato finished his career with 79 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, eight sacks and 21 QB pressures.
Nick Corum (Carter, senior)
Corum garnered accolades in 2022 for his 89 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, 28 QB hurries and two forced fumbles.
Kwynton Chenault (Loudon, senior)
Lightning quick off the snap and in pursuit, Chenault managed 61 tackles and 11 sacks despite relentless double teams coming off the edge.
Caleb Graham (Maryville, senior)
A versatile athlete on the defensive line, this Army signee rang up 72 tackles with 12 tackles for loss, three sacks and a defensive TD.

The Region 2-6A Defensive Player of the Year led a stout Bearden defense in tackles (87) and tackles for loss (13). He also finished with 7.5 sacks.
Ryan Scott (West, junior, 6-2, 200)
The 5Star Preps 2022 Defensive Player of the Year had 119.5 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions and a defensive touchdown in helping West win a 5A state title.
Eli Davis (Anderson County, senior, 6-2, 215)
A Class 4A state champion and Carson-Newman signee, Davis finished his final campaign with 148 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and nine sacks for the Mavericks.
Gavin Noe (Anderson County, senior, 6-2, 220)
A Navy signee, Noe overcame injury to finish the season with 109 tackles and roughly 800 yards rushing. He was named 4A BlueCross Bowl MVP.
John Carlevato (West, senior, 6-2, 225)
A massive defensive presence, Carlevato ranked second (98) in tackles for West in its 5A championship season, also piling up 15.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, a safety and two blocked kicks.
Cooper Cameron (Webb, junior, 6-1, 215)
One of the area’s top 2024 prospects, Cameron had a monster junior season: 146 tackles, five sacks, five QB hurries, and an interception. He helped Webb reach the state semifinals.
Aaron Davis (Alcoa, senior, 6-1, 205)
Davis helped the Tornadoes win their eighth consecutive state title in Class 3A by leading them in tackles with 92 while also making eight tackles for loss and seven sacks. He had 10 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack in the title game.
SECOND TEAM
J.J. Foust (Powell, senior, 5-11, 195)
A consistent producer for four years, Foust made 110 tackles as a senior with 13 stops for loss, five sacks, six forced fumbles and four pass breakups.
Jack Alley (Farragut, junior, 6-2, 215)
The multi-sport standout led Farragut’s defense with 107 tackles, six tackles for loss and a sack.
Garrett Hawkins (Sevier County, senior, 6-2, 215)
The Austin-Peay signee and the SCHS all-time leading tackler had 123 tackles as a senior with nine tackles for loss and an interception.
Amanuel Dickson (Greeneville, junior, 5-11, 200)
This promising prospect had 74 tackles with 20 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and seven QB pressures in 2022.
Brian Kelley (Oak Ridge, senior, 6-0, 210)
The Region 3-5A linebacker of the year finished his prep career with 124 tackles as a senior with three sacks.
Joey Bonifacio (Webb, senior, 6-1, 215)
Bonifacio led the 5Star Preps coverage are in tackles (165) and did that in Webb’s 12-game, state-semifinal campaign.
Peyton Cooper (Maryville, senior, 5-11, 215)
Maryville’s single-season tackles record holder made 157 in 2022 with eight tackles for loss, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two blocked PATs.

Ja’Qurrius Wrenn (West, senior, 6-0, 170)
The Rebels’ leading receiver was more dominant, though, on defense with 62 tackles, six interceptions, two defensive touchdowns and two blocked kicks. He also had three punt-return touchdowns as a senior. He signed with UVA-Wise.
Markeis Barrett (Webb, junior, 6-1, 170)
One of the top prospects of 2024, Barrett complemented his big receiving year with four defensive interceptions and three pass breakups while helping Webb reach the state semifinals.
Marshaun Bowers (West, junior, 5-10, 175)
The West defense was arguably the state’s best. Bowers played a large role in the championship run with 52 tackles, four interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, a punt return touchdown, two rushing touchdowns and two receiving scores.
D’Mon Marable (Clinton, junior, 6-2, 185)
The hard-hitting Marable led Clinton in tackles (82), tackles for loss (15.5), sacks (four), pass breakups (six) and caused fumbles (three).
Cayden Latham (West, senior, 5-11, 170)
Latham helped comprise an oppressive and suffocating secondary at West in its 5A title run, finishing with 45 tackles and five interceptions — including a critical one in the BlueCross Bowl. He signed with UVA-Wise.
Gianni Magdos (Powell, senior, 5-8, 155)
The Carson-Newman signee had a monster senior year. In addition to his 651 yards receiving, Magdos made 53 tackles and returned his six interceptions for a total of 179 yards. He had two defensive touchdowns, as well.

Eli Graf (Alcoa, sophomore)
In addition to his offensive responsibilities, Graf was a bright spot on defense with five interceptions.
Zeke Connatser (TKA, senior)
Over the last few seasons Connatser has been a high-producing DB. He picked off eight passes in 2022 with 13 pass breakups.
Sam Tummins (Bearden, junior)
Bearden’s top receiver also made big impacts when he did play on defense. He had eight interceptions and more than 40 tackles.
Javaris Gallaher (Kingston, senior)
Gallaher’s last season of prep football ended with a bang: 47 tackles, six interceptions and three pass breakups.
Walker Lockhart (Karns, junior)
Lockhart put his 6-3 frame to good use in the secondary, hauling in six interceptions for the Beavers’ defense in 11 games.
Blake Overton (Jefferson County, senior)
A talented receiver, too, Overton’s hands did work on defense, too. He intercepted seven passes and broke up four while making 54 tackles.

Brock Taylor (Catholic, senior)
The Vanderbilt signee averaged 43.6 yards per punt, made 9 of 10 field goals, 29 of 31 PATs and had 35 touchbacks on kickoffs.
Reese Keeney (Farragut, senior)
The Rice signee and Mr. Football finalist had 55 of 69 kickoffs go for touchbacks and averaged 41.8 yards per punt. He made 47 of 48 PATs and 6 of 8 field goals.
Dylan Stooksbury (Powell, sophomore)
Stooksbury punted 34 times for a 41.1-yard average in 2022 while also making 51 PATs and three field goals. He also garnered snaps at QB and at WR.
Tyson Siebe (West, senior)
The longtime starter helped the Rebels win 5A with 59 touchbacks on kickoffs, making 8 of 13 field goals and 69 of 73 PATs.
Dylan Lopez-Hernandez (Morristown West, junior)
One of the area’s unheralded kickers, Lopez-Hernandez made all 31 PATs, went 11-for-15 field-goal kicking (long 49) and booted 21 kickoffs for touchbacks.
Spencer Sullins (McMinn County, junior)
A next-level prospect, Sullivan had 45 touchbacks, averaged 38 yards per punt, only had one PAT miss and kicked six field goals with a long of 49 yards.
SECOND TEAM
Brennan Pearson (Oak Ridge, senior, 6-5, 250)
Pearson had 35 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 39.1 yards per punt.
Benji Angola (Gibbs, junior)
Angola was a surprise player in 2022, making 7 of 9 field goals, 49 of 53 PATs and logging eight touchbacks.
Tyler Radcliffe (Anderson County, junior)
A huge advantage on kickoffs, Radcliffe booted 73 kickoffs for touchbacks in the Mavericks’ 4A championship season.
Lucas Hollifield (Grace Christian, junior)
A nice all-around specialist, Hollifield made seven field goals, 30 PATs, 17 touchbacks and averaged 32 yards per punt.
Kole Hughes (Central, senior)
Hughes sent 75 percent of kickoffs for touchbacks, averaged 37 yards per punt and made 29 of 35 PATS and 3 of 6 field goals.
Quinton Stone (CAK, junior)
