It’s just the third week of the young high school football season, but there’s already a sense of urgency at Oak Ridge.
Coming off a rare 0-2 start, the Wildcats face an almost must-win game Friday at Campbell County (2-0) in the Region 3-5A opener for both teams.
“It’s a big game early,” said Oak Ridge coach Joe Gaddis.
“Being the first region game makes it a big game and coming off our first two losses makes it even more important that we get on track and play well.”
It’s critical that the Wildcats get things figured out considering they’ll be underdogs in their next two games against Farragut and West.
